In November 2009 local boy scouts undertook an Osprey platform project on Cape Island Creek in Cape May. With permission from the Nature Conservancy and State of New Jersey, 4 new Osprey platforms were erected. Captain David was pleased to assist with this worthy project.

The Maurice River is designated as 'Wild & Scenic' by the National Park Service. It is a known wintering stronghold for Bald Eagles. For 2010, trips will sail from March 13 to April 18 on Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets are available online or at 609-898-3500.
